  After the breakdown of our relationship, she had promised to see me independently one last time and booked me in but then cancelled my appointment unilaterally without any communication asserting that she hadn't received the payment of the previous session. When I contacted my bank, my bank CBA confirmed that she had processed the payment I made days ago.(Please see the proofs the payment and cancellation email from her) I still sent her another payment via EFT believing that she hadn't received that payment so that we could have had the session I was booked in for as was planned. Although I sent her the proof of payment and asked for confirmation of our session, she did not bother responding to my email for 2 days and got back to me on the day of the session a few hours before the session and said that this spot wasn't available anymore but could see me 1 week after that. At the time, I had been going through a hurtful break up and had been waiting for the session for a week. The fact that she cut communication with me for 2 days and gave my spot to someone else without bothering to communicate with me is not only very unprofessional and in a character of breaching duty of care but also is very irresponsible and obviously lacks empathy. After cancelling my session and giving my spot to someone else, she confirmed that she received both of the payments I made(for just one session I had with her) revealing that my session was cancelled for no reason, I asked her whether she could see me earlier than a week to compensate for this, she made up another lie saying that she made a mistake by saying that she could see me alone as she 'just realised that in the last session we have had we already had that session alone". The session she was mentioning was a couple therapy session before our couple therapy ended and also it is impossible that she can't have realised that we had it in the absence of my partner for a week. In our sessions, she had underlined the pillars of a healthy relationship as being empathy, a level of commitment/responsibility, compensation/repair etc. Given that therapist-client relationship is a relationship as well, I do not think Linda is someone who can pursue a healthy relationship herself given that she manipulated the situation by making up lies, stonewalling me by cutting communication off just before our session and/or neglecting to communicate with me right before the session causing me to miss my booked in spot as well as not being informed about we would have the session or not, by giving my spot to someone else when I was going through a break up although I had double paid her, not taking responsibility for the damage she has given, by not emphasizing with her client's situation and the like. When I asked whether she can compensate by giving me an earlier spot because we I could not have the session in my prearranged time slot in spite of double paying, instead of being accountable, she produced another lie of just realising that she had already seen me alone when my partner did not attend.(which was actually a couple therapy session, not an individual session) and she refunded the money. She is not reliable and I would strongly recommend to find another therapist who has internalised and implements all those principles of a healthy relationship in her real relationships. After all, couple therapy is a very intimate space and you would want to have a relationship of trust with your therapist. Manipulation and not taking responsibility is a big red flag for a therapist and you can't rely on someone who is not genuine and who does not care for your emotional well-being.

  Linda you are amazing! Extremely helpful all the way through the planning process and rights up to the day.
